Defining a New Process 

When Recom’s partnership with Stokke expanded into Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the UK, we needed to define an approach to content localization, a net new service offering that would quickly become a focal point for the Stokke team. I approved the hiring of independent translators fluent in each country’s native language, developing a strong network of talent capable of working within our existing creative workstreams to ensure continuity in partner experience in each marketplace.

Executing at Scale

Adapting our core creative process in the US, from catalog organization to asset management, ultimately enabled us to execute localized content in eight different countries across over 8k listings and over 100k creative deliverables. The scalability of the process ensured that each marketplace consistently and accurately represented the brand while ensuring we hit topline revenue goals. Additionally, this approach cut costs by over 50% when compared against content localization agency fees. 


The translation process is now used across all brands that expand into international markets and require content localization services.
