Native Sun Natural Foods Market is Jacksonville’s homegrown natural and organic grocer. I had the opportunity to work as Native Sun’s director of marketing for over 5 years, leading projects large and small in an effort to bring clean, organic food to as many people as possible.

MARKETING DIRECTION
As director of marketing, I managed a team of 5 direct reports and multiple external partners. Together, we launched quarterly seasonal campaigns, developed new products, coordinated weekly circulars, and grew a loyalty program that accounted for over 70% of the total customer base and resulted in millions of dollars in sales.


CREATIVE DIRECTION
In 2018, working alongside local agency Brunet-García, I oversaw the development of a brand-positioning campaign that established Native Sun as the go-to for those looking for top-notch education and delicious, healthy food. We delivered a campaign based on the concept of unexpected but relatable life situations that could inspire the target audience to “Go Native”.
The campaign was released across print, social media, TV, and digital channels, boosting sales while increasing new customer visits across all Native Sun locations.
